Instability on Blueprint

From repair to reconstruction, the Blueprint platform supports your shoulder continuum of care. Instability on Blueprint offers the market’s first digital platform dedicated to addressing complex shoulder instability. Learn how the features of Instability on Blueprint can elevate your clinical decision-making and patient care.

Instability on Blueprint

Informed by decades of instability research. Inspired by your patient’s unique instability needs.

Complex instability cases come with various challenges unique to each patient. Instability on Blueprint pre-operative planning technology assists in procedural decision-making when considering soft tissue, Latarjet, and bone block procedures for chronic shoulder instability patients.

  • Surgeon-controlled, interactive platform to align with your current clinical practice
  • Patient-specific pre-operative assessment helps determine the appropriate procedure
  • Individualized planning report highlights key anatomic and planning details
  • Precise and reproducible 3D measurements empowers clinical decision-making2
Instability on Blueprint features

A. Linear best-fit circle

Adjust the circle and its parameters from its original position so that computations align with your current clinical practice.

B. Pre-pathological glenoid prediction

View the patient’s predicted pathology before the onset of the bony defect.

C. Glenoid bone loss calculation

Automatically computes GBL when planning a case. Calculations automatically update as circle parameters are adjusted. Get automated measurements of anterior glenoid bone loss using the best-fit circle method, the standard approach in current clinical practice.

D. 3D anatomy visualization

Derived from CT images and provides patient-specific 3D visuals.

E. Scapula curvature analysis

Provides an enhanced view of morphological discontinuities with a heat-map style view.

F. Precise 3D measurements

Surgeon-controlled precise 3D measuring for pre-operative planning.2

Soft tissue solutions

Iconix Knotless

The smallest knotless all-suture anchor on the market at 1.4mm. This anchor supports a low-profile repair and provides secure fixation with minimal bone removal.

Iconix HA+

The future of all-suture. Coated in hydroxyapatite and bioglass, the HA+ coating attracts osteoblasts to the anchor to create a matrix that promotes an osteostimulatory effect. This feature creates a potential for accelerated bony ingrowth at the implantation site. Learn more about the HA+ technology here.

Knotilus+

Available in both PEEK and Biocomposite, supports secure and streamlined instability repairs. Cortical barb-lock technology engages cortical bone through compression fixation, and the anchor is designed to provide efficiency following insertions of the implant.

NanoTack TT

A 1.4mm anchor that expands to a 2.0mm anchor sub-cortically upon deployment. NanoTack TT gives the benefit of of a flat repair with small knot stacks, a small footprint in the bone, and a larger footprint on the tissue.
