Through the combination of computer imaging and the patient’s own CT scan, a patient-specific preoperative plan is developed. Implant sizing and alignment are determined using the patient’s unobstructed anatomic landmarks and the surgeon’s preferences. Prophecy guides are then created which set resection guide locations, reducing intraoperative steps to simplify surgery.
Prophecy is compatible with Stryker's Infinity, Inbone and Invision total ankle implants, offering a continuum of care including low profile primaries, complex deformities, and revisions.
Exhibiting a history of innovation and clinical success: Prophecy guides increase the alignment accuracy while reducing surgical and fluoroscopic steps.
The Prophecy process
1. The patient receives a CT following the Prophecy CT scan
2. Preoperative plan is generated according to surgeon preferences
3. Preoperative plan is approved by surgeon through Prophecy website. The plan may be altered if desired.
4. A 3D printing machine produces patient specific high resolution nylon guides. The guides are then sent out for surgery.
5. Surgery is performed in accordance with the preoperative plan.

Prophecy Footprint™ Surgical Planning is an add-on service to the standard Prophecy system, that can provide an understanding of the ancillary procedures to be considered for ESAA patients with concomitant pathology.
By facilitating a more comprehensive view of the foot around the ankle, Footprint can help surgeons with their most complex patient populations.
