Please allow a minimum of 2 months’ time between the evaluation and training delivery
Audience: This course is designed for Vocera System Administrators.
Requirements: It’s very important to confirm before class that your IT dept. allows access to and use of the website: gotomypc.com. This site is used during labs for remote access to training servers. You will use instructor-provided credentials to login to this site at class time so there’s no need for you to create your own account. You’ll work in teams when accessing a remote Vocera server so please be co-located with your lab partner if you have two or more students attending.
Vocera uses WebEx web conferencing service for the lecture portion of the courses. It’s important that you confirm before class that your IT dept. allows access and use of WebEx. Test WebEx Meeting connection.
Recommended Setup: To achieve maximum benefit from the course, we recommend teams of two students with a basic knowledge of the Vocera system and access to a training/conference room set with the following equipment:
Two computers (one to project the webinar; the other to view the GoToMyPC remote connection – this configuration provides a more interactive learning environment and is beneficial for performing lab exercises).
