Henry Ford Health, a Michigan-based hospital system with 13 locations and 50,000 staff members, is expanding its virtual care model enterprise-wide following a successful virtual nursing pilot in collaboration with care.ai, now part of Stryker. In the initial pilot, virtual nurses supported bedside teams by managing admissions, rounding and discharge tasks, without reducing the number of bedside staff.
