May was Nurses Month, and we were thrilled to recognize nurses who give everything to their patients every day. On May 16, nurses from a variety of specialties—pediatric, OR, ED, MedSurg and more—came together for an experience at Peloton’s New York City studio that went beyond the typical “thank you.” It was a day for them to recharge, connect and celebrate their hard work.
Nurses dedicate themselves to others, so we wanted to create an event dedicated just to them. We understand the importance of mental and physical health in the nursing profession, which is why we made wellness the centerpiece of the day.
Peloton instructor Hannah Corbin led two private cycle classes giving participants the chance to unwind while getting moving. The event wasn’t just about exercise. It was a chance to pause and reflect, all while sharing the experience with colleagues who understand the demands of the profession.
Stryker’s Jessica Mathieson, President of Medical, and Dylan Crotty, President of Instruments, were there to thank nurses face-to-face. Both took the time to chat with participants, offering their personal gratitude and learning from the nurses’ experiences. It was a powerful moment of connection between our leadership and the people who are the heart of healthcare.
Stryker clinicians also had the chance to interact with their fellow nurses, sharing stories and supporting one another. The energy in the room was palpable, with everyone bonding over shared experiences and mutual respect for the work they do.
From every corner of healthcare, nurses are essential to providing exceptional care. This event was a way to say thank you for all they do. We’re proud to show appreciation for nurses’ resilience, skill and compassion.
Check out this unforgettable day and see how we’re celebrating nurses who continue to inspire us. Their contributions matter every day, and we’re honored to recognize their efforts.
