The Reprocessed Ethicon HARMONIC ACE®+7 Shears with Advanced Hemostasis, Reprocessed Ethicon HARMONIC FOCUS® Shears + Adaptive Tissue Technology, and our newest addition the Reprocessed Ethicon HARMONIC™ 1100 Shears are indicated for soft tissue incisions when bleeding control and minimal thermal injury are desired.

The Ethicon HARMONIC FOCUS® instrument can be used as an adjunct to or substitute for electrosurgery, lasers, and steel scalpels in general, otorhinolaryngologic (ENT), plastic, pediatric, gynecologic, urologic, exposure to orthopedic structures (such as spine and joint space) and other open procedures.

The Reprocessed HARMONIC ACE®+7 instruments can be used as an adjunct to or substitute for electrosurgery, lasers and steel scalpels in general, plastic, pediatric, gynecologic, urologic, thoracic, exposure to orthopedic structures (such as spine and joint space), sealing and transection of lymphatic vessels, and other open and endoscopic procedures. The instruments allow for the coagulation of vessels up to and including 7 mm in diameter, using the Advanced Hemostasis hand control button.

The Reprocessed HARMONIC™ 1100 Shears instruments can be used as an adjunct to or substitute for electrosurgery, lasers, and steel scalpels in general, pediatric, gynecologic, urologic, thoracic, and sealing and transection of lymphatic vessels. The instruments allow for the coagulation of vessels, up to 5 mm in diameter for veins and up to 7mm in diameter for arteries, using the Energy button with Advanced Hemostasis.

Before being sent back to you, all reprocessed devices are required to pass through our robust manufacturing process consisting of:

Decontamination and cleaning
Visual inspection
Function testing for electrical continuity
Ethylene Oxide (EO) sterilization
