Urology continues to push the limits of minimally invasive care - and Stryker is reinforcing its commitment to the specialty with new technology, expanded service capabilities and continued engagement with the urology community.
That commitment shows up through ongoing participation across regional AUA meetings and the national American Urological Association (AUA) Annual Meeting each spring, creating more opportunities to connect with clinicians and share what’s new in urology.
At the center of this launch is Stryker’s new F88, a flexible reusable ureteroscope designed to help clinicians go for hard-to-reach anatomy with confidence1. The F88 features 270° up / 270° down deflection and an insertion tube designed with graduated flexibility along its length to help reduce stress, along with a high-strength bending section produced through a proprietary manufacturing process1.
Early limited-launch feedback supports this design focus. In surgeon surveys, 96% of respondents reported high confidence in the F88’s overall performance2, and 92% reported confidence in the scope’s durability when attempting to visualize difficult anatomy3.
The urology offering is further supported by Stryker’s 1788 visualization platform with SPY Cyan Spectral Imaging (CSI), an advanced imaging modality designed to enhance visualization of non-muscle invasive bladder tumors by using targeted green and short blue wavelengths to increase contrast of vascular structures on the mucosal surface4. SPY CSI requires no drugs or additional equipment.
The launch is complemented by ThermaClear fluid management system and backed by Stryker’s F88 service model, the ProCareSelect plan, designed to deliver on rapid turnaround times and predictable pricing to support OR efficiency and minimize disruptions to clinical workflows.5
