Exploring Modular Construction in Healthcare Spaces

At Stryker’s annual iBuild Workshop in Flower Mound, Texas, more than 75 healthcare architects, equipment planners, and general contractors came together to learn more about modular construction and its role in healthcare design.

The two-day workshop included conversations about healthcare construction trends, Stryker’s modular solutions and collaboration across the project planning process. Through speaker sessions, roundtable discussions and hands-on experiences, attendees explored modular walls, ceilings and renovation strategies used in clinical spaces.

The workshop also gave attendees an opportunity to discuss how modular construction may fit into healthcare planning, renovation and design conversations.

A key highlight of the workshop was Stryker’s Fortress Modular Wall solution, which gave attendees the opportunity to experience modular walls and ceilings firsthand and learn more about their use in healthcare construction and renovation planning.

As conversations around healthcare design continue to evolve, the iBuild Workshop offered a setting for attendees to learn more about modular construction and consider how it may support future projects.

We’re excited to keep the momentum going as modular construction continues to be part of the conversation around planning healthcare spaces for what’s next in patient care.
