The LIFPAK 1000 combines the simplicity of an AED with clear guidance, including onscreen and audio prompts with the flexibility of manual mode operation when indicated. Flexible setup options allow on-screen graphics for the basic rescuer or ECG display and access to manual mode for the more advanced rescuer. This powerful AED combines basic guidance with advanced operational control, enabling responders to deliver fast, appropriate treatment.

  • Escalating energy to 360j biphasic for difficult to defibrillate patients.
  • Provides battery power for up to 220 shocks – escalating to 360 joules – delivering 17 hours of monitoring time. 

Clinically advanced, with robust features

  • Exclusive cprMAX technology helps minimize CPR interruptions by allowing responders to perform pre-shock CPR while the AED charges.
  • Industry-leading features including a CPR countdown timer, ECG capability, a shock counter and programmable settings – all on a large, easy-to-read LCD screen.

  • Compatibility with other LIFEPAK electrodes and monitors speeds the transition to the next level of care.

The LIFEPAK 1000 weighs 7.1 pounds with one set of REDI-PAK electrodes and one non-rechargeable battery. 

AED - Provides operating capability for basic users
Manual - Provides operating capability for advanced users
ECG - Provides ECG display capability with 3-wire ECG cable
Setup - Allows user to configure the device
Data transfer - Allows user to transfer patient data
Auto test - Provides daily automatic test of hardware and software  

Initial CPR - User defined time for CPR after first analysis regardless of analysis decision. This setting can be set to OFF, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 and 180 seconds.
Pre-shock CPR - Allows for CPR while device is charging. This setting can be set to OFF, 15 or 30 seconds.
Stacked shocks - This setting can be set to ON or OFF. When set to OFF, this allows for provision of CPR after each shock.
Pulse check - This setting allows the device to prompt for a pulse check after every shock, after every NSA pulse check or never prompt for a pulse check. The default setting is NEVER.  

The default energy output settings are 200, 300, 360 joules and then 360 joules for every shock thereafter.

ECG information is received from the adult and infant/child electrodes in anterior- lateral or anterior-posterior positions. A three-wire cable can be used for ECG monitoring (Lead II).

Heart rate - 20 to 300 BPM digital display
