Yes – the Sync Badge enables clear, secure hands-free communication, even when worn under restrictive personal protective equipment (PPE).
The Sync Badge is especially suited to fast-moving environments where nurses’ hands and attention are engaged in patient care tasks and there’s a heavy reliance on teamwork. The emergency department, operating room, labor and delivery, and NICU are prime examples, but the Sync Badge can be used in any department.
The Sync Badge was inspired by nurses and is well-suited to any staff member who needs to keep their hands free for workflow tasks and communicate quickly. Our hands-free, wearable communication devices are also used by physicians in hands-on environments, as well as staff in areas such as environmental services, radiology, pharmacy and facilities management.
The Sync Badge is 1.5 x 3.9 x .7 in. (38 x 98 x 17.5 mm) without the clip. It weighs 2.6 oz. (75 g) with the clip and battery.
