Say “Okay Vocera” to wake up the Sync Badge and start communicating.

Smartbadge, Minibadge and Sync Badge

Reach people on the communication device they use

The Sync Badge is part of our enterprise workflow platform, which includes not only hands-free, wearable devices, but also software for smartphones and desktops. Our technology can even interoperate with desktop phones, hospital pager systems and call center systems.

Workflow efficiency

Know your device is always at the ready

Hands too busy to pull out a phone, unlock it and navigate to a communication app? No problem.

Wear the Sync Badge at the neckline to communicate fast.

Tilt the device toward you and you can read the screen and navigate without needing to remove the device from the clip or lanyard.

Sync Badge screen with intuitive buttons

See and do the most important things first

Quickly navigate and prioritise communications with intuitive buttons and a three-section inbox that helps you to promptly address new notifications and easily access previously reviewed items.

Identify urgent notifications, and the number and priority of unread notifications, with colour coding by priority.

Sync Badge keeps you focused on critical tasks

Stay focused on critical tasks

When you need to focus on patient care workflow tasks, set the Sync Badge to Do Not Disturb mode for 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes – or as long as you need.

Normal-priority calls will automatically route to another user. An urgent call notification can break through Do Not Disturb mode, or if a user is playing a text message or on a call.

Stryker’s Vocera Engage middleware integrates with the Sync Badge

Let the alarms and notifications you need come to you

You can receive alarms, critical lab results and STAT order notifications directly on the Sync Badge*.

Through integration with Stryker’s Vocera Engage* middleware, the Sync Badge can receive information from your electronic medical record (EMR)*, nurse call system, patient monitors*, medical devices*, scheduling systems, connected beds and stretchers*, and more.

Emergency communication

Even in a hospital, violence can happen. The Sync Badge has a dedicated panic button you can discreetly press in a moment of distress.

Nurse pressing Sync Badge panic button

Summon help at the press of a button

Let the Sync Badge call for help when you can’t.

In an emergency, reach help quickly by pressing the dedicated panic button to discreetly open a communication channel that broadcasts to a response or security team – without drawing attention, and even if you can’t speak.

Responders can see your name and location, hear what’s happening and communicate directly with you if the situation allows.

The Sync Badge is part of an enterprise hospital communication system that can integrate with security systems for situational awareness, mass notification and more.

The platform can route security system alarms and notifications to the right people at the right time and allow broad communication in the event of a threat.
