Jeremy Segall, MA, RDT, LCAT, FPCC, is the inaugural System Chief Wellness Officer at NYC Health + Hospitals, the largest municipal public healthcare system in the nation. He currently oversees the human experience continuum for the enterprise, including employee wellbeingresponse efforts and engagement strategy, governing the system’s wellness programming, person-centered care certification, and care experience portfolios consisting of the system’s customer service values.
A licensed creative arts therapist and an executive coach in private practice, Jeremy has been a featured speaker at New York University, The New School, Hunter College, Harvard and numerous industry forums. He has won two international workplace wellness awards and was the 2023 America’s Essential Hospitals’ Gage Award Honorable Mention in Quality Improvement for care experience. In addition, Jeremy’s wellness program was identified by the Joint Commission as a “best practice,” and he has published multiple articles and a book chapter on wellness and equity.
