Course overview: This advanced Upper trauma course will focus on complex fractures of the elbow, proximal humerus and clavicle. It is led by a faculty of European experts and is meant to be highly interactive. The delegates will be able to discuss, in small groups, possible surgical approaches based on cases we will provide them and they will have to undertake the discussed approaches on the pre-fractured specimens during the cadaveric lab. The aim is that they will have a comprehensive array of operative strategies to deal with complex injuries.
Delegates profile: This course is intended for experienced and advanced Trauma surgeons who are actively involved in the management of Trauma patients on a daily basis. It is not suitable for registrars.
