Stryker launches the connected Power-PRO 2 powered ambulance cot

Kalamazoo, MI - Stryker, one of the world's leading medical technology companies, announced the industry's first connected ambulance cot. Building on the innovation of its predecessor, the Power- PRO 2 powered ambulance cot offers improved maneuverability, increased safety and connectivity tools to help optimise time and budget.

Key features and benefits of the Power-PRO 2 include:

  • Ergonomic transport handle designed to help reduce the risk of medic injury
  • Retractable foot end section, allowing the cot to navigate tighter spaces
  • Optimal loading height settings and a smarter hydraulic assembly, enabling a true, 318kg unassisted lift
  • Remote “last known cot location” tracking with Stryker’s Smart Equipment Management (SEM) dashboard
  • A new lithium-ion battery to improve battery life and management

When pairing the Power-PRO 2 with Stryker’s Power-LOAD, the powered system is designed to help reduce the risk of injuries when loading and unloading cots.
