David Nathans

Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer

David became Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer in January 2026.

David is responsible for leading our global Cybersecurity, Product Security and Enterprise Digital and Technology (EDT) compliance functions that strive to safeguard our digital assets and ensure operational resilience across markets.

Prior to Stryker, David spent 12 years at Siemens Healthcare, serving the last six years as Chief Information Security Officer. During his tenure, he led the cybersecurity strategy for the Americas region and served as Product Security Officer, where he established the function. Before his work at Siemens Healthcare, David directed global IT security for Leonardo-DRS Technologies, Inc. for more than 40 international business units, safeguarding company assets, intellectual property and computer systems in a multi-national defence environment.

David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Regis University and served in the US Air National Guard in Cyber Warfare Operations for 14 years.
