Why is a well-fitting implant important?
Relying on plate bending for plate fit may cause early mechanical failure in trauma plating procedures.1 Using the Stryker Orthopaedics Modeling and Analytics (SOMA) database, Pangea offers an evidence-based, anatomically informed implant.2
Variable angle locking technology
Pangea’s variable angle locking technology uses a cobalt chrome (CoCr) locking screw for a Ti6Al4V plate. The system includes a variable angle drill guide that supports the 30° cone of polyaxial screw placement.
Universal holes offer 30º cone of angulation
