Mr Silvernail is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Madison Industries, one of the world's largest privately held companies. He is the former Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of IDEX Corporation, Chairman from 2012 to 2020 and President and Chief Executive Officer from 2011 to 2020. Mr Silvernail is also a trustee for the Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation (MAPI).

By virtue of prior service as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of IDEX Corporation and his preceding experience in executive leadership positions with IDEX and another large public company, Mr Silvernail provides valuable business, leadership and management insights and useful perspectives to our board discussions. His experience leading a large public company with global operations gives him a clear understanding of the issues facing a multinational business such as ours.
