New York, N.Y. – November 18, 2021 – Stryker has once again been honored by the Women’s Forum of New York for advancing gender representation in the boardroom at their biennial Breakfast of Corporate Champions. The event recognizes S&P 500 companies that exceed the national average of board seats held by women. Stryker’s board of directors is 40 percent women.

Stryker’s chair and CEO, Kevin Lobo, has doubled the number of board seats held by women during his tenure, saying, “I believe in the concept of critical mass – multiple women at the table, not just one, changes everything.”

In addition to increasing gender representation in the boardroom, Kevin and Stryker’s senior leadership team have championed a cultural evolution designed to empower women across the company. Setting goals, tracking metrics and investing time and resources into initiatives that support women continue to drive results that contribute to Stryker’s diversity, equity and inclusion commitments.
