Stryker named in the top five; receives World’s Best honor

13-Oct-2020

For a fourth consecutive year, Fortune, in partnership with Great Place to Work (GPTW), has named Stryker one of the 25 World’s Best Workplaces. This year, Stryker moved up the list three spots to rank #5.

To qualify, companies had to receive GPTW recognition as a Best Workplace in at least five countries, have 5,000 or more employees worldwide and have at least 40% of the company's workforce (or 5,000 employees) based outside of the country where the company is headquartered.

We received GPTW honors in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Finland, France, Greater China, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Korea, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. Employees shared what they think and feel about Stryker as a place to work on the Trust Index Survey. The survey is the primary deciding factor in GPTW’s ratings of each workplace.

More than 10,000 organizations across 92 countries participated in the process. Candidates for this year's list appeared on national workplace lists published in 2019 and 2020.

This honor gives us an opportunity to reflect on what makes Stryker special — our talented people. This year has presented many challenges that have impacted us all in various ways. Yet, we’ve rallied together, kept each other safe, continued to innovate and supported our customers. We thank them for their contributions to our workplace culture and for all they do to make healthcare better.
