David Nathans

Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer

David became Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer in January 2026.

David is responsible for leading the company’s global Cybersecurity, Product Security and Enterprise Digital and Technology (EDT) compliance functions that safeguard the organization’s digital assets and ensure operational resilience across markets.

Prior to Stryker, David spent 12 years at Siemens Healthcare, serving the last six years as Chief Information Security Officer. During his tenure, he led the cybersecurity strategy for the Americas region and served as Product Security Officer where he established the function. David also directed global IT security for Leonardo-DRS Technologies, Inc. for more than 40 international business units, safeguarding company assets, intellectual property and computer systems in a multi-national defense environment.

David holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Regis University and served in the U.S. Air National Guard in Cyber Warfare Operations for 14 years.
