Details

The Participant Will: 1) Discuss patient evaluation and diagnostic skills for pre-arthritic and early-arthritic hip disease. 2) Recognize the most common pre-arthritic hip disorders (femoroacetabular impingement and hip dysplasia). 3) Describe and evaluate the appropriate evaluations for arthroscopic and open proceduers in the treatment of pre-arthritic hip disease. 4) Under the guidance of expert faculty, identify the surgical anatomy for, and perform the various surgical techniques (hip arthroscopy, surgical dislocation, periacetabular osteotomy and proximal femoral osteotomy) for the treatment of the pre-arthritic hip disorders.
