SR MCP and PIP

Arthroplasty System

Semi-constrained implants designed to replicate the anatomic joint surfaces of the PIP and MCP joints.

Small joints

The SR PIP and MCP implants are designed to replicate the anatomic joint surfaces, preserve bone and reduce disruption to the collateral ligament origins and insertions.

  • The SR PIP is a congruent implant designed for minimal resection of the effected proximal interphalangeal joint and preservation of the collateral ligaments. Manufactured from cobalt chrome, titanium, and polyethylene, this implant is intended to integrate with the prepared bony surfaces.

  • The SR MCP is a semi-constrained implant designed for minimal resection of the effected metacarpalphalangeal joint and preservation of the collateral ligaments. Manufactured from cobalt chrome and polyethylene, the implant is intended to be implanted with bone cement.

  • The SR PIP and SR MCP implants are available for sale in the United States as a humanitarian use device. You use a humanitarian use device for conditions or diseases which typically affect fewer than 4,000 people in the United States per year, and when there is no comparable device marketed to treat/diagnose those conditions or diseases.
