HCP Policy for Medical Education Attendees

This Stryker Canada policy applies to Healthcare Professional (HCP) attendees (“Attendees”) at Stryker Canada Medical Education Programs.

Questions regarding any aspect of this policy may be directed to Stryker Canada’s Medical Education Department at mededcanada@stryker.com.

Stryker Canada is committed to supporting continued Health Care Professional learning in a manner that complies with the MedTech Canada Code of Conduct and our internal compliance policies. In line with MedTech Canada, Stryker Canada may pay for reasonable and modest travel, accommodation, and meal costs for Attendees in relation to Stryker Canada’s Medical Education Programs.

Stryker Canada recognizes that some Attendees may be bound by provincial, state or institutional codes of ethics which restrict certain offerings from industry, including, but not limited to, support for travel, accommodation and meals. By registering for a Stryker Canada Product Training course, Attendees are responsible for ensuring that they are not in breach of any of these policies. In cases where restrictions apply, Stryker Canada will be in contact with Attendees to organize meeting and travel details directly once the registration is complete.

Stryker Canada Medical Education Programs are not CME accredited group learning activities. However, a certificate of attendance for the learning activity will be provided upon request.

Registration

Some Medical Education Programs require an on-line registration process. In these instances, requirement for registration will be indicated on the Stryker Canada website and/or on the program literature.
