T2 Supracondylar Nailing System
The T2 Supracondylar Nailing System is designed to treat complex distal femoral fractures. The sophisticated design incorporates a number of unique features.
Features & Benefits
- Four locking holes strategically placed within 32mm to driving end that provide three planes of fixation in the distal femur.
- The most distal hole is centered at 6mm from driving end of nail.
- Cannulated implants allow reamed or unreamed insertion over a 3mm x 1000mm guide wire.
- No guide wire exchange required after reaming.
- 4-degree bend and 2.0 meter radius of antecurvature for the long nails to adapt to femoral anatomy.
- All locking screws for short nails (170mm and 200mm) can be inserted via a targeting device.
- 5.0mm cannulated condyle bolts with pre-attached and adjustable washers allow insertion over K-wires and to help provide up to 7mm of mediolateral interfragmentary compression.
- Proximal oblong hole allows dynamization
- Dedicated end cap tightens on most distal locking screws or condyle bolt to provide a fixed-angle construct and to help prevent bony ingrowth into the driving end to facilitate nail removal.
