T2 Femoral Nailing System
The T2 Femoral Nailing System offers either an antegrade or a retrograde approach, using a universal implant for left and right applications.
Features & Benefits
-
Various Locking Modes
Various locking modes provide options for stable fracture fixation: -
- Static, transverse locking
- Dynamic locking
- Mechanical compression of the fracture site up to 10mm
- Advanced locking for increased rotational stability
-
Common Instrumentation
As the platform is based on the common T2 instrumentation platform, all cannulated 9mm to 15mm femoral nails use 5.0mm locking screws. They do not require guide wire exchange after reaming. -
5.0mm Cannulated Condyle Bolts
5.0mm cannulated condyle bolts, with pre-attached and adjustable washers, allow insertion over K-wires and provide up to 7mm of mediolateral interfragmentary compression. -
Multiple End Caps
Multiple end caps provide a "best fit" for every indication and help prevent bony ingrowth into the driving end of the nail for easy nail removal. -
Internal Fracture Compression
7mm of internal compression may aid in early weight bearing and fracture healing.
