T2 Tibial Nailing System
The T2 Tibial Nailing System addresses extremely proximal and distal fractures of the tibia. The T2 was the first tibial system with a distal hole centered 5mm from the nail tip to address hard-to-reach distal fractures.
Features & Benefits
-
Various Locking Modes
Various locking modes provide options for stable fixation, including: -
- Static, transverse/oblique locking
- Dynamic locking and compression for fracture sites up to 7mm
- Advanced locking to create a fixed angle construct
-
Common Instrumentation
As the platform is based on the common T2 instrumentation platform, all cannulated 9mm to 15mm nails use 5.0mm locking screws and do not require guide wire exchange after reaming. -
Multiple End Caps
Multiple end caps provide a "best fit" for every application and prevent bony ingrowth into the driving end for easy nail removal. -
Internal Fracture Compression
7mm of internal compression may aid in early weight bearing and fracture healing.
