The T2 Recon Nail is the latest development for the treatment of proximal hip and diaphyseal femoral fractures.
Features & Benefits
- Four-degree lateral bend and R2.0/R1.5 antecurvature allow for trochanteric insertion in either Recon or Antegrade Femoral Mode
- Cannulated 6.5 mm lag screws for use in Recon Mode
- Variety of implant sizes: 9-15mm
- Ø9 and 11 mm implants have 13mm proximal diameter
- Ø13 and 15 mm implants have 15mm proximal diameter
- Cannulated implants allow reamed or unreamed insertion over 3 x 1000mm guide wire
- No guide wire exchange required after reaming
- Distal oblong hole allows dynamization
- Dedicated Set Screw in both Antegrade Femoral and Recon Modes
- Multiple end caps provide optimal intraoperative length adjustment and help to prevent bony ingrowth into driving end for easy nail removal
