Adaptive Vertebral PEEK Spacer (AVS) AS

The AVS ASL PEEK Spacer is a vertebral body replacement used in spine surgery in the thoraco-lumbar spine (T1-L5). The AVS replaces a collapsed, damaged or unstable vertebral body resected or excised during total and partial vertebrectomy procedures due to tumor or trauma. The device achieves anterior decompression of the spinal cord and neural tissues and restores the height of collapsed vertebral body. The AVS PEEK Spacer is intended for use with supplemental fixation systems. The supplemental fixation systems that may be used with the AVS AS PEEK Spacer include the Stryker spine plate or rod systems (XIA, Spiral Radius 90D and Trio).
