Unique Dual Offset Humeral Head
The Solar Dual Offset Humeral Heads offer options that no other humeral head replacement can provide. The unique Dual Offset taper configuration and dual radius design allow the orthopaedic surgeon to intraoperatively adjust the amount of coverage of the humeral resection and independently adjust the amount of soft tissue balance for each patient. It also has the following features:
- Helps achieve precise coverage of resected humerus
- No need for indexing
- 8 dual offset head sizes with diameters ranging from 40mm to 55mm and thicknesses from 15mm to 21mm
- For normal situations, the 4mm offset combined with 360° orientation range will accommodate most patients’ anatomy
- For fracture cases, the 8mm offset can help to re-establish proper head position and head height.
