Stryker designs cable kits from both electrical and mechanical standpoints. First the cables have to carry the required signal type with little signal degradation. Second, the have to fit in restricted space requirements. This is most important for flat panel cable kits. Stryker places our flat panel cable kit through 10 years of simulated motion in the operating room. Our cable kits are also designed with future proofing and redundancy in mind.
- Solution-based
All of Stryker's cable kits are designed for specific applications. There are cable kits for equipment booms, anesthesia booms, both dual and single flat panel arms, individual displays and wall cameras. The kits use coaxial cables for high bandwidth analog signals and fiber optic cables for DVI signals.
- Future-proofing
Stryker cable kits are designed for current technology. We are also looking towards the future. The capacity of Stryker's fiber optic cabling far exceeds its current bandwidth usage. Stryker also provides extra cables appropriate for spares and expansion over the normal lifespan of the equipment in the OR.
