Automate Procedures. The APS™ – Automated Positioning System streamlines the digital radiography workflow by automating all positioning and image acquisition requirements. Transfer data directly from a PACS to the digital radiography modality workstation via DICOM worklist, while choosing exposure and image processing parameters with simple touch screen selections.
Advanced robotics position the system for the selected examination by remote control while an integrated video camera monitors the patient to ensure correct positioning. Set exposure factors and prepare for follow-up examinations using parameters retrieved from DICOM headers of previous examinations.
