In fact, the level of thermal diffusivity of the SILVERGlide alloy is 37 times higher than that of stainless steel commonly used in standard forceps. Laboratory testing and field experience have shown that the non-stick characteristics of SILVERGlide forceps are as good after multiple uses as they were the first time they were used.
