The bladed tip requires less force for penetrating the abdominal wall, while the blunt-entry tip is designed to protect entry into the abdominal cavity.

The 12X150mm Passport Blunt Tip Robotic Trocar offers innovative blunt tip technology and robotic compatibility. The blunt tip design gently separates tissue layers, providing safe entry into the abdominal cavity. The cannula offers a designated mounting point for robotic arm attachment, as well as a cannula fixation anchor designed to maximize trocar fixation to abdominal wall. Suture posts allow for an additional tie-down option. “
