2013
- Stryker's Endoscopy division was added to the list of The Healthiest Employers of the Bay Area 2013. This Silicon Valley Business Journal award program recognizes companies that are committed to creating a healthy workplace environment and our Endoscopy division placed #3 out of 62 Bay Area companies! The survey is comprised of 75 questions aimed to measure worksite wellness programs in comparison to regional and national employers. Winners are chosen based on six key categories: culture and leadership commitment, foundational components, strategic planning, communication and marketing, programming and interventions, reporting and analysis.
- Our United Kingdom team was named as a Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For, for the seventh year in a row. The opinions of our employees placed us on the list of mid-sized companies in 2013.
- Stryker Canada was recognized as one of 2013 Best Workplaces in Canada by the Great Place to Work® Institute Canada for the fourth consecutive year! Stryker was ranked #42, up one position from last year, in the category of large (>1,000 employees) and multinational organizations.
- For the third year in a row, our Endoscopy division has been named a 2013 Top Workplaces by the Bay Area News/San Jose Mercury News. We placed highest in the Execution category, which measures employees' answers to specific questions.
- Stryker's Endoscopy division was named #6 (for large companies) on the rankings of the 125 Best Places to Work in the Bay Area for 2013 by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal and San Francisco Business Times.
- Stryker moved ahead and is #305 on FORTUNE's list of the top 500 U.S. companies in terms of revenue.
- Stryker once again received the Gallup Great Workplace Award, the sixth time in the last seven years we have received this honor.
- For the twelfth consecutive year, Stryker was named among the "World's Most Admired Companies". 2012
- Stryker in South Africa wins SAOA Stand of the Year 2012 Award - Each year, the South African Orthopaedic Association (SAOA) holds its Orthopaedic Congress, the largest event of its kind in the country. The event took place in Durban at the International Convention Centre and was attended by nearly 400 participants from every region of South Africa and internationally. This year, Stryker was the proud recipient of the coveted Stand of the Year 2012 Award.
- GetAroundKnee CampaignTakes Home Bronze at CLIO Healthcare Awards - The GetAroundKnee campaign TV commercials took home a bronze at the 3rd Annual CLIO Healthcare Awards held on November 13 in New York City. The CLIO Healthcare Awards is an extension of The CLIO Awards, one of the world's most recognized award competitions for advertising, design and communications. - 2012 Newsweek’s Green Rankings - Stryker ranks #270 out of 500 of the largest US based publically traded companies in Newsweek’s Green Rankings; #33 out of 51 in the healthcare sector (moved ahead 31 rankings from 2011).
- LEED - U.S. Green Building Council Certification– Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance – at our Orthopaedics facility in Mahwah, New Jersey – largest Stryker manufacturing facility to receive this certification.
- 2012 Catalyst for Success - Stryker is one of 11 companies that were honored by Southwest Michigan First as Catalysts for Economic Success, an award that recognizes companies contributing to economic development efforts in Southwest Michigan. Stryker has several locations in the area, including the corporate office, Medical division headquarters and Instruments division headquarters. “We thank our 2011 winners for contributing to the region’s economic growth at a time when a job can make a huge difference to an individual, their family and their community,” said Ron Kitchens, CEO of Southwest Michigan First.
- Stryker is listed as #35 on the Top 50 Companies by Workforce Diversity for Engineering and IT Professionals magazine.
- Our Endoscopy division was again selected as one of the Top Workplaces for 2012 BayArea NewsGroup in the large companies category in a recent survey conducted by the San Jose Mercury News.

- Stryker moved ahead fifteen places and is #308 on FORTUNE's list of the top 500 U.S. companies in terms of revenue.
- Stryker once again received the Gallup Great Workplace Award, the fifth time in the last six years we have received this honor.
- FORTUNE Magazine named Stryker among the “World's Most Admired Companies” for the eleventh consecutive year. This year, Stryker moved up two spots from #3 and tied with St. Jude Medical for the #1 spot in the Medical Equipment industry.

2011
- Business Review West Michigan presented Stryker with a “Deals of the Year” award in the “Mergers and Acquisitions” category for the acquisition of Boston Scientific’s Neurovascular division. Stryker was also honored as a finalist in the “Commercial Real Estate” category for the work on the lease of our new building on Romence Road in Portage, Michigan.
- Stryker was named a World’s Most Innovative Company by Forbes Magazine, placing #95 out of 100 in the debut year of the list being published.
- The editors of R&D Magazine announced the winners of the 49th Annual R&D 100 Awards, which salute the 100 most technologically significant products introduced into the marketplace over the past year. Stryker’s ADM X3 Mobile Bearing Hip Acetabular System was honored in the Life Sciences category.
- FORTUNE Magazine named Stryker # 3 on the "World's Most Admired" list for companies in the "Medical and Other Precision Equipment" industry.
- Stryker is now #323 on FORTUNE magazine’s list of top 500 U.S. companies in terms of revenue.
- Stryker’s Endoscopy division ranked an impressive 9th place out of 125 companies in Best Places to Work in the Bay Area 2011 as recognized by The San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal.

- Stryker’s Ascent division earned the Champion for Change Award for the third year in a row from Practice Greenhealth.
- Stryker manufacturing facilities in Portage, Michigan, and Suzhou, China, earned Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) certifications from the United States Green Building Council.
- Ascent division was recognized by VHA, a national health care network, for outstanding service to its member health care organizations.
- Financial Times ranks Stryker in the top 10 of "Most Valuable U.S. Healthcare Equipment and Services Companies, 2010"
