Participate in a weekly supplier web conference with a German company

I have watched our supplier base grow into the international market and have even had the chance to go to Finland to visit one of our new suppliers. I enjoy building these new relationships as we continue to drive growth and diversity within our supply chain.

Participate in a weekly conference call with another Stryker division

I want to build my career at Stryker because I have the ability to grow professionally, both within new roles and educationally, take on additional responsibility, and am recognized for my hard work. After only being with the company for two and a half years, I earned the Total Performance Award in 2007. Stryker was my first job out of college and the company has truly made me feel valuable in every aspect.

Complete my daily greet / check-up with the Materials team

I work with a group of such talented people who all have endless drive, passion and commitment to the work they do every day. And we watch out for each other; I am willing to step up to a challenge or to assist another person even if it is outside my daily responsibilities. We also play hard — I am currently the cultural chair for our activities committee and I plan fun events. I am also involved with our Stryker Women’s Network and professional and social organizations outside of work that have allowed me to give back to my community and network with other professionals.

Lead the weekly materials training and procedures meeting

Stryker has created new roles for me that assisted in strengthening my skills and talents. Many of these roles have been new, so I have been able to create a strong foundation and leave a legacy for future team members. I was also selected to participate in our mentorship program where I’ve been paired with talented directors and mangers who have all built strong careers at Stryker. Their insight, guidance, and advice influence me tremendously. They are the leading examples of hard work paying off, as well as being role models of the endless career opportunities and paths within Stryker.
