Fractures of the upper extremity are common in adults and children, and remain a challenge for the orthopedic surgeon. Stryker was a pioneer of external fixation for fractures, with the introduction of the Mini Hoffmann, a small external fixator for the hand and the Hoffmann distal radius fixator in the 1970s. Building on this strong history, Stryker has continued to develop innovative products to help meet the unique requirements of the orthopedic surgeon working in the Upper Extremity. With its incorporation of Leibinger’s hand products in 2006, Stryker consolidated many of its upper extremity trauma products into one comprehensive portfolio to better meet surgeons’ needs.

Stryker’s portfolio of Upper Extremity Products offers a full range of options from intramedullary nails, locked plating, external fixation devices, screws, pins, and new orthobiologic solutions for fracture treatment and soft tissue repair. Industry-recognized product lines, such as T2 Hoffmann and Profyle Hand, are among the offerings. Stryker continues to provide surgeons with innovative products for fracture fixation and soft tissue management.
